Sometimes belonging appears where we least expect it.

During a period of constant movement across East Asia, familiar places
gradually disappeared, replaced by temporary encounters and passing landscapes.
In Osaka, vending machines emerged as recurring points of attention,
quietly illuminating the city while standing alone within it.

Over time, these isolated presences became more than urban objects.
They reflected a condition of existing between certainty and uncertainty,
distance and intimacy, permanence and transition.
Rather than documenting the city itself, the photographs trace an emotional geography,
where belonging is no longer tied to a place,
but to the fragile relationships we build with the spaces we inhabit, however briefly.
